With the extensive knowledge gained from working on projects around the world, RCC Presa Associates exists to advise clients on the complexities of these massive projects. We are able to save our clients substantial sums of money as well as potential mistakes. We engage experienced team members who have a thorough understanding of the various construction philosophies, particularly in the development of Roller Compacted Concrete and Hydroelectric Dams.
Ted Warren began his overseas consulting in 2002 while working for a heavy civil contractor at the Ralco Dam and Hydroelectric scheme on the Bio Bio River in southern Chile. The project comprised of a 155 tall Roller Compacted Concrete gravity dam containing 1.6 million cubic meters of concrete mass and over 200,000 cubic meters of structural concrete for the spillway works, a 7 km drill and blast headrace tunnel leading to a 570 mw powerhouse cavern.
It was through this experience and passion for clean hydroelectric energy and his previous experiences on more than 6 RCC dams in the USA since 1992 that he realized a need for an engineering and consulting group that provides services.
